- Speed Download 5 offers breakthroughs in download innovation, ease of use, and reliability that won't be found anywhere else.
- With Speed Download 5, you can download any website content from the Internet (i.e. images, backgrounds, movies, and other files to your local hard drive. Just enter a URL and Speed Download 5 will take care of the rest.
- From the toolbar, simply press on 'Add files from URL'.
- Simply enter the relevant information and press 'OK'.
- Enter the URL that you wish to download the content from.
- If the server requires authentication, enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.
- Select the download location for these files. By default, SD will download to your SD Downloads folder. However, you can easily change that to anywhere else.
- Adjust the criteria for downloading (i.e. file extensions to download, how many levels deep you wish SD 5 to go through).
- Advanced: HTTP-Referrer: you can leave this blank for most uses.
- Advanced: You may set how many connections SD will open to this server when downloading from it.
- Press 'OK'.
